Refractive index 1.81 liquid

This contact fluid is essential when using a gemmological optical refractometer. It allows the testing of gemstones with higher refractive indices, such as garnets. Safely contained in a spill-minimising bottle, this fluid releases very few vapours and has a long lasting shelf life. The advanced formula allows for less crystallisation than 1.79 fluid even at lower temperatures.
