Portable polariscope
A portable equipment for on field analysis or for jewellers. Internally powered by LED illumination, equipped with Li-Ion rechargeable battery.
A polariscope is used to detect if a stone is mono or bi-refractive, as well to determine “strain” in diamonds. It also useful for distinguishing solid inclusions from negative inclusion as well as for spotting polysynthetic twinning.
